Full band tracking is possible, though recording all members simultaneously is limited by the room size. We can track instruments individually or in small groups. Drums need to be tracked elsewhere or scheduled for a weekend to keep the neighbors happy.

What's Included

Every recording session includes comping, basic editing, and a rough mix to take home. If you're also booking mixing, the raw tracks move straight into that phase.

Recording Music in Bellingham

I've been recording bands and independent artists in Bellingham since the mid-2000s, starting out of whatever apartment I could fit a mic or two in. Strait A Students, Our Fallen Heroes, Muppet Fetish, and plenty of singer-songwriters around the Whatcom County scene. The studio has moved a few times, but the approach hasn't changed: focused sessions, honest pricing, and a finished product you're proud to share.

This is a project studio, not a commercial facility. That means you get one-on-one attention from the person actually running the board, no clock-watching engineers, and rates that don't require a label advance. It's well-suited for solo artists, singer-songwriters, acoustic duos, and small bands tracking instruments one at a time. If you need a full-band live room, there are bigger spaces around, but for most independent releases, a project studio is exactly what you need.

Artists from Ferndale, Lynden, Blaine, Birch Bay, and Mount Vernon regularly book sessions here. The drive is short, the rates are fair, and you'll leave with something that sounds like you.
